Nineteenth-century photographic map of Puy-de-Dome by the French photographer, Francois Trottier.

Francois Trottier (1829-1908) was a prominent photographer of the Puy-de-Dome region, who won silver medal at the Clermont-Ferrand art and industrial exhibition in 1870. The present map is based on his photographic reproduction of a drawn topographic map of the Puy de Dome volcano and its surroundings.
