London: The Observer, 1921. First Edition. Quarter Cloth. Good Plus/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" Large. Pegram, Fred. Unpaginated but complete. 1921. First edition published by the Observer. Quarter cloth and paper covered boards. Also included is a period (circa 1920) facsimile of the first ever Observer broad sheet of Sunday, December 4, 1791 (now folded). Ink former owner's name and date to the front endpaper. A unique copy - signed in ink by all three of the editors (?) below a frontispiece illustration of the Editorial Room. J.L.Gavin, R.M. Barrington-Ward and Robert Bell have all signed it in neat black ink. Some scattered foxing. Rubbing to cloth at the head and tail of the spine with some light fraying. Several corners are bumped and rubbed.
