Faded to the bottom edge of the cloth, the binding is tight and the text clean and unmarked. The pictorial dust jacket is unclipped but edge worn with some loss, old strengthening tape residual marks to the edges of the verso, splash mark to the front panel, rubbed at the joints & now protected in a non-adhesive archival film sleeve. Illustrated throughout, 224pp. The third and best impression of the Observer Book series' scarcest title..
