Edge and corner worn, lightly scuffed and scratched, corners are bumped and rubbed, some shelf wear, pages are toning, spine is slightly faded, ex-library with some of the usual library markings (the only library markings are on the inner front cover), former owner's embossed name is on the first and second free endpapers, binding is a little loose, page 361 has a small tear in the middle, light stain on the outer edge of the front cover, overall a clean used first American Universities edition! Spine is tan cloth with red bordered gilt lettering and the front and rear covers are blue boards. 361 unmarked and uncreased, spiritual and historical pages!
