Sobre este artículo
London: Longmans, Green & Co, 1894. First Edition. . Hardback. Good. First edition. Hardback, bound in blue cloth with gilt titling and design to the spine and upper board. 23 × 14.5cm, 267pp. This copy has been signed and dedicated to the title page by Henry W Wolff, and dated 1896. Eight essays by Henry Wolff that had previously been published in journals such as The Gentleman's Magazine etc. They all have a historical flavour, with subjects such as Richard de la Pole, Voltaire, the Royal Family, and so on. Henry William Wolff (1840-1931) was a British co-operative activist and in 1895 was a founder of the International Co-operative Alliance, serving as its joint president until 1907. Condition: A good reading copy. The blue cloth boards are rubbed and bumped and the inner binding is a little strained in places but the book remains in good readable condition.
