Quebec: Geo.-E. Desbarats, 1870. Hardcover; large 4to; 2 volumes; 1478 pages. Second edition. Heavy, will require extra shipping. Poor binding but excellent interior. Numerous plates + foldout plates + colour plates. Half leather with marbled sidepapers. Upper board of both volumes detatched, lower board of both loose but attached. Heavily rubbed/bumped edges. exposed board. Bumped corners. Leather quite dry and flaking around edges, esp spine which is creased, cracked, and rubbed. Lightly yellowing but largely bright and clean interior with excellent clear type and many plates. First signature of vol 2 nearly loose. Large loose folding map laid in rear, reinforced with old tape. P/--. Hardcover. Poor/No Jacket.
