New Zealand: Patea County Council No date (1937). 96pp. Tipped-in, fold-out boundary map affixed to rear pasetdown. Book clean and square. Spine firm and hinges good. A small nip on head of spine, significant colour loss on same vignetting into hinges and strips of flecked and specked blue cloth boards. Spine title still legible, gilt titles on front board patinated but clear. No dustjacket. A former owner's name, and date (1940), on front pastedown, leaves uniformly tanned, else textblock clean. The story of the County of Patea, New Zealand, from the 1860's, compiled from county and official records, and personal experiences of the pioneers . . . Contents include: Prelims., Prologue, numerous chapters, County Chairman's Review, Councillors, Statistics.
