Octavo, xvi (advertisements), 216 pages with numerous (mostly full-page) illustrations from photographs plus a folding colour map (of Adelaide), pictorial printed wrappers and advertisements mounted on the pastedowns. Original full red leather (attractively lettered in gilt on the front cover), retaining the original printed wrappers; head of the spine neatly restored; covers lightly rubbed at the extremities; many of the illustrations offset; notwithstanding, an excellent copy. Provenance: Alexander John Morison, Town Clerk of Adelaide, 1937-46, with his pencilled ownership signature, dated 1906.
