The Missouri Secretary of State's Office publishes what is commonly known as the "Blue Book". The book includes Missouri's history and the work of its public servants, including state employees and elected officials. It has been published every other year since 1878. The cover is frequently blue - all but nine editions are bound with blue covers. Each edition is a snapshot of Missouri history, government information, statistics, stories, essays, and pictures, making it a great resource.
Book Condition: Very Good. The blue boards are clean and the silver gilt is bright. The cover also has a black and silver gilt "The Great Seal of the State of Missouri". Front cover looks great, but there is very slight corner wear. The back cover has some serious rubbed spots. There is a very light stain on the edge of the closed book pages. Please see photos. Text is clean and binding is tight.
