Fore-corners a little turned; trace of fishmothing to cloth; a little wear to extremities; endpapers and page edges somewhat browned; occasional fox spot. Good condition. Afrikaans text. (Nienaber I, p. 267) Uncommon. Besides some examples held by South African repositories, OCLC finds only the British Library copy. The charming story of a circus escapee, Ogus the baboon, who is able to speak to the children Lettie and Hennie, who become his friends. .
