Okorokmagazine was published in Mogilev, the center of Belarusian rock movement, in 1989-1994 (# 10 was the last one). These issues consist articles about Belarusian, Ukrainian and Latvian rock, events and festivals, album reviews (for ex. A Star Called Sun by Kino), interviews with rock musicians (leader of Grazhdanskaya Oborona band, Egor Letov; co-founder of Aquarium, Boris Grebenshchikov; bluesman Yuri Naumov), history of Zvuki Mu band, extracts from In His Own Write by John Lennon and verses (I Sat Belonely, Good Dog Nigel, The Moldy Moldy Man), brief biography and photos by Joel-Peter Witkin, one of the most controversial contemporary photographers.
