The catalogue for Visser's Biennale presentation in the original card slipcase together with Visser's multiple with the stamped titles: 'CAREL VISSER OLANDA - XXXIV BIENNALE - VENEZIA 1956'; it appears likely that Visser's multiple was not limited.A leading exponent of Dutch Abstract-Minimalist Constructivism in sculpture, Visser was awarded the David E. Bright sculpture prize at the Biennale for the same year.
