Collated, complete.Charles Knight provides an extensive history of England, looking at the development of the country from the time before the conquest up to the eighteenth century. Knight also looks at the progress of society for the century preceding the Victorian era.The first volume of a two volume work, which was first published in 1845.Undated; dated circa 1860 via Jisc, due to pagination and number of plates. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Bumping to spine head and tail and board perimeters, with a touch of discolouration to board perimeters. Hinges strained, but firmly held.
