Sobre este artículo
Newport, England: R.H. Johns Ltd, 1951. Hardcover. 4to. Red cloth with gilt lettering and decoration. xx. 132pp. Color frontispiece, numerous illustrations (some color). Very good. Endpapers and page edges faintly foxed and age toned; spine ever-so-slightly sunned, else internally fine. A tight, quite nice first edition of this classic history of the early 19th century porcelain or pottery with the metallic glaze -- this copy boldly signed and inscribed by a co-author in blue ballpoint on front flyleaf: " 'May this add lustre to your collecting'-- ' / Warren Baker - M.D. / May 5, 1960." A lovely copy of an uncommon title seldom found signed.
