Identified as the first impression by its green endpapers. This anthology, Old John and Other Poems, is a collection of lyrical poems. Thomas Edward Brown was a late-Victorian scholar and poet. He was originally from the Isle of Man and had several poetry collections published during his lifetime. In original full cloth binding. Externally, generally smart with bumping to the head and tail of spine and to extremities. Prior owner's bookplate to front pastedown, Alex Bridge. Alex Bridge's signature to the verso of front endpaper as well. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are slightly age toned to edges with the odd spot throughout Very Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
