Charles Scribner's Sons, 1919. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1919. No edition stated. 249 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth with gilt titles to spine. Pages are rather marked with pronounced tanning and slight foxing, plus thumbing. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper and pastedown. Gutters cracked with exposed netting. A few dog-eared corners. Text block edges are very tanned and foxed with minor scratches. Boards have heavy edge wear, with intense bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are very crushed and frayed. A little scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Spine is slightly sunned. Faint blue stains to front. Gilt is bright.
