Book This books provides an example of the high quality reprints early in Grosset & Dunlap's history. The text block is heavy paper and every page is decorated with a green border with candles on the sides connected with a ribbon at the top and a decoration surrounding the page number. In addition, there are separate pages to mark the beginning of each chapter with a similar decoration. There are four illustrations (the frontispiece and four internal) printed on coated stock surrounded by a green decorative border, as well Size: 7.5"-8" - Small Octavo (Sm. 8vo). 143 pages. Item Type: Book. Text block is tight, bright and unmarked. Bound in a light green cloth over boards with a green border and pastedown college illustration on the front cover. Title in brown on the front cover and spine. Corners show light wear at the tips. Shelf wear at the head and foot of the spine with a small hole at the bottom edge of the spine next to the rear cover. No foxing in this copy.
