Brown pebbled cloth with gilt title and author outlines on spine, title outline and embossed illustration of southwestern scene on front board. Front hinge slightly separated before frontispiece. Pages 323 - 334 extend slightly past the page block, and have some tape repairs at hinge. Repairs are neatly done and should last indefinitely. A little wear to brown cloth at spine ends, but in all, a solid square copy. Includes many illistrations, "biography and genealogy," and an index; 488 pages.
