Hale and Company/Cadmus Books , 1951. cloth, hardcover. illustrated boards, turquoise, orange, silver and black. silver and black lettering to spine. no flaws or wear. clean. no writing or markings. no bumps, tears, creases. strong binding, hinges. it is unlikely that this edition came with a dust jacket. the original edition was published by lothrop, lee and shepard in 1951. in my humble opinion, this was published very close to the original, without a dj in a sturdy edition for distribution to schools or libraries., unpaginated. illustrated throughout in blue, black and white. great cover illustration of the protagonist - a bus.. Special Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/No Jacket. Illus. by Clement Hurd. Oblong 8vo. Children's Book.
