Publisher: George Braziller, New York] Folio 13" - 23" tall; 208 pages; Reproduction of 46 leaves of the Morgan Picture Bible, an imperfect manuscript of Old Testament illustrations in the Morgan Library; with additional reproductions of 2 of the missing leaves (folio 43-44) in the Bibliothèque nationale, Paris, and another (folio 45) originally from the collection of Dr. Peter and Irene Ludwig, in Aachen, Germany. Previously published in 1927 for the Roxburghe Club under the title: A Book of Old Testament illustrations of the middle of the thirteenth century. The descriptive pages have been inserted between the plates and pertinent Biblical passages have been supplied. .
