Price at upper corner of the inside front flap ($14.95), itself a distinguishing mark of Holiday House First Edition, First Printings. INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR. First Edition (1992), so stated. Price at upper corner of the inside front flap ($14.95), itself a distinguishing mark of Holiday House First Edition, First Printings. Near Fine in Near Fine DJ: Both book and DJ show only minute indications of use. The Book shows just a hint of wear to the extremities; a faint wrinkle in the rear free endpaper; else flawless; the binding is square and secure; the text is clean. Free of creased or dog-eared pages in the text. Free of any ownership names, dates, addresses, notations, inscriptions, stamps, plates, or labels. A nearly-new copy, structurally sound and tightly bound, showing a hint of wear. Bright and Clean. Very close to 'As New'. The DJ shows a hint of a wrinkle at the head of the backstrip; the price has not been clipped. Near new. However, the DJ has been covered with clear vinyl contact paper, which appears to be a library treatment, rather than a publisher's work - and the DJ has been affixed to the book with tape at the front and rear flaps. NOT a Remainder or Book-Club. No signs that this might be an Ex-Library copy, except for the treatments mentioned above. Oblong 8vo. (8.3 x 10 x 0.35 inches). Illustrated in Color by Giora Carmi. Language: English. Weight: 10.9 ounces. Age Range: 5 - 6 years. Grade Level: Preschool and up. Hardback with DJ. INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR.
