The hermit was a magician, so when the mouse was threatened by a cat, he turned the mouse into a bigger cat. Each time he was threaten, the magician would change him into another animal, thus he became a tiger. He became too proud and forgot where he had come from, so the magician turned him back into a mouse, he ran into the forest and was never seen again. A story about big and little, and too much pride. Illustrated in beautiful colors. Pictorial wraps in red and olive green. Near New, VVG.
