Sobre este artículo

William Morrow & Co, 1980. First American edition. Hardcover. Fine/fine. First American edition/first printing. Fine in bright, crisp dust jacket with a narrow bit of wear fott edge of the spine. The second in this iconic series of medieval mysteries featuring monk/sleuth Brother Cadfael. In this entry, the town of Shrewsbury is captured by Stephen, one of two royal cousins battling for the throne of England. A number of prisoners are hanged but when Cadfael counts the bodies laid out in the courtyard, he finds there is one corpse too many---the extra body being the victim of murder. Ellis Peters' Brother Cadfael mysteries were made into an ITV/PBS television series with Derek Jacobi starring in the title role.

Sinopsis

One Corpse Too Many is a medieval mystery novel set in the summer of 1138 by Ellis Peters, first published in 1979. It was adapted for television in 1994 by Central for ITV. Although it was the first novel in the Brother Cadfael series to be written, it was the second to be published, as the events of A Morbid Taste for Bones take place first, chronologically.
