Sobre este artículo

London England: Blackie & Son. Very Good/Fair. 1943. First Edition. Cloth. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" Tall Duodecimo Hardcover Hardcover. First Edition. The One-Eyed Trapper. Some pieces of D/J. missing from edge. Reading marks to back D/J. Plastic protective covering. Circa 1943. The heroes of this unusual story represent England, Canada, and America, at a Canadian school where the system gives glorious scope for adventure in the big wods. In a tree thse allies build a hut as their secret headquarters. Then appears the sinister figure of the One-Eyed Trapper, and the tale of school, ice-hockey and amateur tracking takes a grimmer tone. For the trapper and his confederates are bent on kidnapping the American boy, and are prepared to stop at nothing. Illustrations. 256 pp. (We carry a wide selection of titles in The Arts, Theology, History, Politics, Social and Physical Sciences.
