Published in the same year as the American edition, the British edition featured a new psychiatric jacket design by Kenneth Farnhill. This copy SIGNED by Kesey to front endpaper, with elaborate-if opaque-inscription: "Like an outdated ghost, hold the drawstring tight." Kesey's name blacked out on the copyright page as usual.
