Eric A. Hegg (1867-1947) was a Swedish-American photographer that was famous for photographs of people and events during the Klondike Gold Rush 1897-1901. From the dust jacket, Hegg was a self-trained photographer that man hauled and sled loads of photographic equipment across the mountains during winter. He traveled to all of the areas and towns to capture the events.
