DJ missing large chip front cover that takes out author's first name Robert. Split along spine bottom 4". Rubbing along spine edges, closed tear back cover - protected from further damage with clean Brodart jacket. A bit of staining on front of dj. Overall a very nice copy of early printing of Caldecott Honor book. Does NOT have Caldecot seal.. Illus. by McCloskey, Robert. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Hardcover. Very Good/Fair.
