Boston: Little Brown and Company, 1944. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Winston Churchill's rousing and inspiring speeches, broadcasts and addresses of 1943. Book is tight and bright with minor wear and some slight rubbing to boards. Jacket shows rubbing to back, some chipping on top and bottom of spine which also has some light sun fading. A significant tear on front cover is approximately 4" long, but jacket is intact. Some wear along corners and edges. There are bands of yellowing on page edges, perhaps from difference in quality of paper used on different sections.
