Frontispiece portrait of the author by Basil King; cover calligraphy by Suzanne Moore. Issued in a paperback trade edition of a thousand copies; in addition, there were a hundred numbered and signed copies bound in full cloth. New, direct from the publisher.

David Rattray, who died in 1993 at the age of 56, was widely known for his translations from Antonin Artaud, René Crevel, Roger Gilbert-Lecomte, and many others. This collection is the only accessible edition of his own stunning poems.
