Rebacked paneled brown leather spine with previous boards and red label and gilt lettering; spine rebound. Binding is sturdy and boards are worn with corners rubbed and curved, paneled blindstamping to both boards, flower motif in corners, and remnants of gilt tooling to board edges. Textblock shows mild age toning, frontispiece reattached at gutter, and chipping and wear to all edges. Each work has a separate title page. Information on each work is as follows: Opera Universa, frontispiece, 321pp., [42]; Epistolae Responsoriae, [42], 277pp., [57], Second Edition p., errata on p. [53] at end, bookseller's advertisements on p.
