Written by Basil Lubbock, a notable British historian, sailor and soldier, who has an extensive bibliography of works regarding maritime topics. In the original full cloth binding. Externally very smart with some shelf wear and bumping to the edges and spine. Spine is faded. The odd light mark to the boards. A few odd spots to the paste-downs and free endpapers. Internally firmly bound. Pages very bright and clean with just the occasional mark, and a some light creasing to the tops of the pages throughout. Very Good Indeed
