Former library book. 257 pp, plus 2 pp list of other titles about Chinese history published by George Allen & Unwin at the end. Some pages toward beginning of book have some pink highlighting and pencil marks; p. 13 and p. 137 have small holes in right margin. Some smudges, spots; nothing that interferes with text. Library treatments on front flyleaf. Boards covered in brown fabric, gilt titling on spine. Worn through to boards all along bottom edges, as well as top right corners and top of spine. Binding is solid. Dust jacket was enclosed in library mylar sleeve after having been used, repaired with tape on front edge of spine; preserved from further damage. Overall well-used but good reading copy.
