'S-Gravenhage / The Hague: Mouton, 1956. First edition (?). Hardcover. Very good/very good. Octavo, 666pp., illustrated. Published in the same year as the London edition, this one published in the Netherlands seems to be referenced in several articles about the book and its author, and the Mouton publisher is thanked in the Acknowledgments. We presume this is the first edition. A very good smoker's copy, with the front hinge starting, but not cracked. In the scarce dust jacket, also very good, with minor but noticeable chipping and creasing at the spine ends, and some wear at the corners. A nice copy of this book, scarce in the dust jacket.
