(ca 1920); 5 1/2 x 7 1/2; pp. [8]; wraps illustrated in black and orange; few faint spots of foxing and some age-toning to wraps; internally mostly clean but for some slight darkening to margins of pages and small rust spots around staples; illustrations in black and orange; overall very good or better. A quite uncommon early 20th century British book for six-year-olds (from the publisher's write-up on back wrap). This particular one is the first of the "Betty's Geography Lessons" series and tells, in the form of a conversation between a mother and her daughter, a short story of the citrus fruit grown in Spain. The only copy in the trade.
