Pages clean and bindings secure. Half leather covers with marbled boards, end papers, and page edges. Spine is gilt embossed calf with raised bands. Everett is the former secretary of state, governor of Massachusetts, and president of Harvard. He was also a Whig party candidate for President in 1860. (In L3 box121.)
