Sobre este artículo

London: Arthur Barker Limited. Very Good- in Very Good+ dust jacket. 1983. First Edition. Hardcover. 0213168537 . This is a 'Doctored' Ex-Library copy which the former owner has worked on to remove all signs of this being a former library book. He has done it pretty well and from the outside there are No signs of it being Ex-Lib. In the original grey blue boards with bright gilt titling to the spine, and in the original publisher's illustrated dustjacket. Neither of which have any library markings and the old library cover has preserved the d/j in a VG/NF state. However there are old thin lines of sellotape glue to the top and bottom of the back cover, which may be able to be removed? Internally the endpapers have been replaced by new ones and he has stuck a plain white sticker over the library stamp that was on the reverse of the title page - however it still shows through to the Title page a little. There is a lot of brown spotting (foxing) to the rear endpapers. Otherwise NO other library signs anywhere in the book that I can see. The page fore-edges are uniformly tanned and overall, despite its former status as a Ex-Lib copy, as noted above, this is a Very Clean, Tight and Bright Near "Very Good" copy. (6) + 154pp. " A Second World War novel featuring the adventures of Donald Cameron as he participates in the naval war for North Africa. " ; Ex-Library; 8vo 8" - 9" .
