Slightly smaller book, green cloth spine, green boards with black illustration of smiling ram on front, black lettering and design very fine on spine with very tiny light gray spotting, green inside covers and adjacent end papers, 213 heavy lightly browned pages. On first front end paper in fine black ink: "For Hiram, with thanks and love. Muriel. Jan. 1965." On dust jacket inside flap, praised from noted editor Hiram Haydn, "The book is a jewel and a flame." DJ beneath mylar, green background with white and black illustration of smiling ram on front, lettering in black, dark green and blue on front and spine, b/w photo of Rukeyser on back with blue border at bottom. DJ has very slight wear to bottom front tip and spine top edge, microtear at top front spine indentation, small surface nick and slight wear to spine bottom edge and top back tip. Near Very Good DJ/Very Good book.
