Pristine and tight fourth printing, inscribed and signed large and bold in black ballpoint on title page "For Bill / With best wishes / Eavan Boland." Boland (1944-2020) was a prolific Irish poet, author and educator. Recipient "Bill" is Bill Pauly (1942-2021), long-time English professor at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa and poet especially well known for his haikus.
