Original gilt titled green cloth, subtly recased, spine ends with some light rubbing, mild discolouration to the upper cover, held in a recent green cloth folding box. Freeman 376, variant a. First published the previous year. The first issue of the second edition also appeared in 1859; but for the the mention of "fifth thousand" on the title page the two issues are identical.
