This complete two volume set is the Sixth Edition, 33rd thousand. The volumes are bound in 3/4 leather (leather spines and corners) with marbled covers and endsheets, and gold lettering and decor on the spines. The tops of the page edges are gilded. There is the handwritten name and date (1890) and bookplate of a former owner inside. Both volumes are in Very Good Condition. This is a lovely edition and binding, and is a highly sought after early printing.
