Small white embossed armorial bookplate on front fixed endpaper with motto "Nec temere nec timide." Former owner's name "R.J. Written at head of title page: "Stephen Elliott 1841." A few marginal notations. In Good Condition: lacking much leather over spine and some from both boards, which are still attached; faint dampstain and light soiling on title page and first pages thereafter; otherwise, clean and tight.
