Formed in 1991 by keyboardist John Medeski, drummer Billy Martin, and bassist Chris Wood, Medeski Martin and Wood developed their own unique brand of improvisational jazz fusion, incorporating influences as varied as hip hop, funk, and jam band, in a style sometimes described as "avant-groove." "Tonic" was the band's eighth release and first live album, released April 25, 2000, and was recorded in an entirely acoustic format reminiscent of the band's 1992 debut "Notes from the Underground."
20 x 30 inches, with a center horizontal crease, likely as issued. Some faint creasing overall, else Near Fine.
