The theme of the Wolfson College Lectures for 1978 is the emergence of permanent human settlements, and the social, political, and religious ideas that may have accompanied this development. The boards which are covered in black buckram with gilt lettering down the spine are square with no damage, the text block is tight, crisp and clean, the dust jacket is also very good ,but is priced-clipped. Illustrated with photographs and line drawings. PLEASE NOTE. 2nd class SIGNED FOR parcel post in the UK Only is included in the price of the book. All books are photographed in their boxes as proof against in-transit damage. .
