Sobre este artículo

Dr. Barzun was a poet and a founder-director of arts groups in France and the United States. Here he offers analysis and opinion on the several areas mentioned within the title. Orpheus. "As a Commemorative Book not meant for the public, it also intends to express the author's indebtedness and gratitude to the Institutions which sponsored his cultural labors in France and America over the years, as well as the many co-workers, artists, writers, educators, critics and patrons, whose invaluable contributions are gathered or recorded in the very pages of the Survey.

Author has inscribed his thanks to Dr. Myron M. Mininberg dated July 1961, New Rochelle, NY, on the half-title page. Front and back covers have browning around the edges from aging. There is a small spot on the upper right corner of the cover where a price sticker used to be and there are slight marks along the upper front hinge and back fore edge. Slight bumps to corners and top edge. The spine is UNCREASED but is brown with age; pages are tightly bound. Edging is clear of stains and marks on all 3 sides but darkened with age. Pages are free of ANY folds, tears, stains, marks, writing or highlighting. Proceeds benefit public library. (D4)
