BC6 - A tight, clean, sound copy in textured tan paper covered boards quarter bound in blue paper with silver lettering and graphics on the spine with very minor overall shelf wear with the original owner's embossed seal on the title page plus there are two remainder marks on the top outside paper edges. The dust jacket shows only very minor overall shelf wear. A returning war veteran is murdered by his unfaithful wife and her lover. His son in turns kills the couple. He is then arrested and taken to court where he refuses to defend himself because of his grief and guilt. This is a reinvention of the Oresteia set in small-town America at the end of World War II.
