Sobre este artículo

Greenwich, CT: New York Graphic Society, 1967. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Clean, tight, unmarked; wear to upper edge of dust jacket - two closed tears to upper spine extreme- wear to corners of dj; blue cloth covers with gilt titles; minimal general wear; $4.75 price on dj; with 12 b&w illustrations and 48 color plates; Kokoschka is one of the great masters of the 20th century, but the only one who has remained independent of the anti-naturalistic revolution of our era. In his two major themes, he has created unique expressions of spiritual intensity and formal strength. Through Kokoschka, "spirit becomes nature and reality becomes transparent to reveal the spiritual." the 48 color plates were especially made for this book and carefully checked against the original paintings to ensure a faithful reproduction of their tones.
