Sobre este artículo
NESBIT, E[dith]. Oswald Bastable and Others. Illustrated by Charles E. Brock and H.R. Millar. London: Wells Gardner, Darton & Co [1905]. 8vo, x 370pp. + [10]advts. Maroon cloth pictorially stamped in gilt. 22 b&w plates and illustrated title page. Spine ends a bit rubbed, corners the slightest bit bumped, endpapers a tad discolored, tiny hole near bottom corner of first two leaves, faint discoloring of upper corner of last two leaves, else an internally clean, bright copy.
First edition, first state with page 96 mistakenly numbered 69. A wonderful collection of tales, including four about the Bastable children from The Story of the Treasure Seekers and its sequels, beautifully showcase the charm and enchantment of E. Nesbit's characteristic style.
