This is a revised edition of "The Development of Navies during the last Half-Century". 38 illustrations in total. The illustrations include full page plates and small in-text illustrations, wood-engravings and relief half-tone photographic illustrations of ships. Some of the plate leaves are counted within the pagination sequence, while others are additional to the pagination. .
