Hard Cover. 8vo - 22 x 15 cm.; xvii - (1) - 240 - (4) pp. Brown cloth with gilt lettering on the spine and the front board. A short history of the city of Pembroke followed by biographies of 31 prominent, important, wonderful, unforgettable people associated with this town located in the heart of the Ottawa Valley. Illustrated with black and white photographs. Minor wear to the fore corners of the boards. The library markings are tape remains on the lower spine, a stamp on the front paste down end paper, attachment remains on the back paste down end paper and the library name stamped (quite prominently) on all 3 text block edges. Signed and dated by both authors on the front free end paper. Aside from the library stampings and markings, the book is very clean with a sound binding and appears to have been used very little. A rather hard to find local history. A clear and removable archival cover has been fitted.; Signed by All Authors .
