Publisher's gray cloth with upper board gilt lettering and decorative purple beech leaves, octavo, pp. 259 plus colophon. Previous owner 1902 Christmas gift notation in a neat hand on free front endpaper. Some mottling of the cloth on lower portion of spine. Small half-moon shaped loss of fore-edge paper at pp. 221/222 (see photo). About Very Good condition withal.
